Why Should I Wash My Hands?
A virus is easily passed from person to person by breathing in air containing the virus produced when an infected person talks, coughs or sneezes. It can also spread through hand/ face contact after touching a person or surface contaminated with the virus.
It is therefore vital to start practising really good hand hygiene which means vigorous and lengthy hand washing and then applying Oxygen Body 3%. Remember to wash the backs of the hands and in between fingers in the webbing of the hands as well as wrists and under finger nails.
The recommended length of time you should spend washing your hands is 25 - 30 seconds. Make sure you dry hands on clean towels or better still disposable hand towels that can be burned or thrown away.
Wash hands repeatedly and especially after a visit to the bathroom, before preparing food and before eating.
Make sure Children get into the habit of washing their hands well and regularly too.
